MONTRÉAL, July 22, 2020 /CNW Telbec/ - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)
The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages, accompanied by Élisabeth Brière, Member of Parliament for Sherbrooke and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec and the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Member of Parliament for Laurier—Sainte-Marie and Minister of Canadian Heritage, will announce investments in clean technology.
Global demand for clean technology is growing year by year and Canadian designers in this field have amply demonstrated their capacity to develop innovations that are tailored to market realities and results-oriented. These innovations are essential to ensure Canada's transition to a low-carbon economy and to help other sectors become cleaner. Clean growth is a CED core priority.

Journalists must confirm their plans to attend by sending their full name and the name of their media organization in an email to [email protected] before 9:00 am, Thursday, July 23, 2020, and state whether they will be on site for the press conference or attending remotely in virtual format. For those attending remotely, a Zoom link will be sent to enable them to ask questions following the press briefing.
The press briefing will also be broadcast on CED's Twitter account.
Individuals who attend the press conference must not exhibit symptoms similar to COVID–19 symptoms nor have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for the virus within the past 14 days. Note that it is mandatory to wear a face mask in enclosed spaces in Quebec.
