Modifications to the T17 free collective taxi service to the Centre Laval and the Galeries Laval Français
LAVAL, QC, Aug. 3, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - As a part of the work to implement preferential bus measures (PBM), the route for the T17 free collective taxi service implemented by the Société de transport de Laval (STL) is being modified as of August 4 due to scheduled construction work on boulevard Le Corbusier Nord heading toward boulevard Le Corbusier Sud between Du Souvenir and Saint-Martin boulevard.
This temporary taxi service was implemented in July to facilitate travel for clients and workers
of the Centre Laval and Galeries Laval.
As of Thursday, the northbound bus routes remain operational on Le Corbusier boulevard and the southbound bus routes will be re-routed to both Tessier and De L'Avenir boulevards. The T17 shared taxi will therefore return riders southbound towards the Saint-Martin and De L'Avenir intersection and all the way to the Centre Laval and Galeries Laval malls toward the Montmorency Metro station.
The taxis will board on boulevard De L'Avenir every 20 minutes and will drop off riders at established stops till disembarkment at the Montmorency Metro station according to the following schedule:
- Monday and Tuesday between 9:30 AM and 6:30 PM
- Wednesday to Friday between 9:30 AM and 9:30 PM
- Saturday between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM
- Sunday between 9:30 AM and 5:30 PM
