Molson Coors Canada & Oilers present Oil Country Abroad

EDMONTON, Oct. 8, 2013 /CNW/ - With hockey season back in full swing, Molson Coors Canada and the Edmonton Oilers want to know how fans were showing their Oil Country pride during the off-season. The Oil Country Abroad contest asks fans to share photos of themselves and their friends showing off their orange and blue.

"Oilers fans are some of the most passionate in the league," said Julie Gathercole, Molson Coors Canada Corporate Affairs Manager. "We thought it would be fun to share pictures of them showing off their Oilers passion, and reward it with an amazing fan trip."

Oilers fans 18 and older are encouraged to submit their photos online by October 13^th at midnight for their chance to win a VIP trip for two to see the Oilers take on the Canadians in Montreal on October 22^nd. The prize includes airfare, accommodations, and a Molson Canadian VIP experience at the game.

"We're really looking forward to seeing all the ways our fans are showing off their Oil Country pride," says Ryan Frankson, Oilers Director of Social Media. "Our fans are constantly proving their passion for the team, and we're excited to partner with Molson Coors Canada for this contest to reward them for their efforts."
