Moneris names Winnie Leung as new Chief Financial Officer

TORONTO, Jan. 22, 2015 /CNW/ - Moneris Solutions Corporation ("Moneris") is pleased to announce the appointment of Winnie Leung as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. 

As Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Leung oversees financial strategy, management, reporting and treasury operations. Ms. Leung's responsibilities include making investment and borrowing decisions on behalf of the corporation, providing financial analysis in support of various business goals, and assessing the financial impact of acquisition targets.

Ms. Leung is a strategic, results-oriented leader with over 20 years of finance experience. Ms. Leung joined Moneris in 2011 as the Controller and instituted policies and practices to deliver strong financial and operational results. Prior to joining Moneris, Ms. Leung was an Audit Partner at KPMG, servicing clients in the technology and communications sector.

Ms. Leung graduated from the University of Waterloo with a B.A. in Accountancy Studies and a Masters of Accounting. She holds the Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant designation from the Province of Ontario and Certified Public Accountant designation from the State of Illinois.
