CALGARY, July 3, 2013 /CNW/ - Amid the excitement of the famous ten-day Calgary Stampede is an event that fills the city with free food, entertainment, socialising, and a joyous celebration of Western culture: the Stampede breakfast.
For the first time, Money Mentors has teamed up with the Calgary Food Bank to collect food and cash donations in support of the Food Bank's "Put the Boots to Hunger" campaign. Money Mentors is inviting all Calgarians, cowboys, and visitors to throw on their favourite western wear and head down to Money Mentors for a breakfast hootenanny on Saturday July 6, 2013.
We will be serving mouth-watering pancakes and hot-off-the grill sausages, complimented by farm-fresh scrambled eggs. Coffee, orange juice and an assortment of freshly baked goods will also be available for you to fill up your plate!
There will be plenty of entertainment, including a live performance by Nashville recording artist Lori Kole; as well as a professional clown painting faces, juggling, and making balloon animals for the kids. As this event is held in conjunction with the Calgary Food Bank, non-perishable food items and cash donations are greatly appreciated.
