Monique F. Leroux is reelected as Chair of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Desjardins Group Français
LÉVIS, QC, Jan. 31, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - At the end of the Nomination period, which closed at 4:30 p.m., on January 30, Desjardins Election Committee Chair and member of the Ouest de Montréal Council of Representatives, Mr. Gilles Metcalfe, is pleased to announce that Ms. Monique F. Leroux has been reelected for a second mandate as Chair of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Desjardins Group (www.desjardins.com).
Ms. Leroux was elected Chair of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Desjardins Group on March 15, 2008, and officially took office on March 29, 2008. Therefore, on March 31, 2012 she will begin her second and last mandate, which will end in March 2016.
Ms. Leroux had announced her intention to renew her mandate in a communication transmitted on January 19 to the members of the Board of Directors and the members of the Election Committee of Desjardins Group.
