DORVAL, QC, March 29 /CNW Telbec/ - GEEP (Global Electric Electronic Processing Inc.) is proud to announce that it has been selected by the City of Montreal as its exclusive service provider for the collection of its information and communication technology (ICT) and those of its citizens, for their reuse, when appropriate, and their recycling. Three other companies also responded to the request for proposal.
GEEP will serve a minimum of six Eco-Centres on the Island of Montreal and will ensure the sustainable management of more than 900,000 kg of material each year. The contract granted to GEEP by the City of Montreal, for a period of up to three years, covers the recycling of all end-of-life electric and electronic products according to the highest standards in sustainable development, and in conformity with EPSC standards.
