12 - 12:30 p.m. Welcome of the participants 12:30 - 1 p.m. Introduction by Patrice Bélanger Welcoming word by Daniel Germain, president and founder, Club des Petits Déjeuners du Québec, Breakfast Clubs of Canada, Montreal Millennium Summit and by Sylvie Bernier, olympic medalist and spokesperson for Investors Group 1 - 1:10 p.m. Musical performance 1:10 - 1:15 p.m. Presentation by Club 2/3 1:15 - 2:30 p.m. Solidarity Rally In groups of 10, participants will follow a path of situation simulations inspired by human impacts on climate change, hosted by CLUB 2/3. At each station, young leaders must deal with the situation and identify the issues in order to find possible solutions for the most vulnerable populations around the globe. At the end of the path, participants will have identified the causes of world inequities and will be ready to question the role and the actions they can commit to, in their community. 2:30 - 3 p.m. Break 3 - 3:30 p.m. Meeting at the Summit Presentation with Philippe Cousteau, CEO and co-founder of EarthEcho International, a non-profit organization that empowers youth to take action that protects and restores our water planet 3:30 - 4:15 p.m. Question period 4:15 - 4:30 p.m. Musical performance 4:30 - 4:45 p.m. Presentation with Renée Larouche from Rio Tinto Alcan concerning their initiative Keeping Youth in school together, introducing Mathieu Sage from the organization Toujours Ensemble 4:45 - 5:15 p.m. Testimonies of young leaders Kenneth Nana Amoateng, coordinator of the African Youth delegation to the Copenhagen Conference Taryn MacKenzie-Mohr, member of the Canada Youth delegation to the Copenhagen Conference Peter Schiefke, national manager, The Climate Project Canada Participant, Youth Forum 5:15 p.m. Closing remarks
