7th Annual Canadian Suit Drive Collects Over 77,000 Items of Professional Clothing

TORONTO, Aug. 23, 2016 /CNW/ -- Moores Clothing for Men's seventh annual Canadian Suit Drive concluded at the end of July and the brand announced today that this year's initiative collected a record-breaking number of items, all benefiting unemployed Canadians looking to re-enter the workforce.  Throughout the month of July, 126 Moores stores across the nation collected over 77,000 articles of gently used men's and women's professional attire that will be given to job seekers in need.

"Our customers made this a record year for the Canadian Suit Drive and their donations will help change lives. Together, we are giving men and women across the country the confidence they need for a new beginning," said Doug Ewert, CEO of Tailored Brands, Inc. The items collected are distributed to over 60 recipient organizations across Canada – providing them to unemployed men and women looking to make positive life changes. To some, a suit can provide the boost of confidence needed for job interviews to make a memorable first impression.
