TORONTO, June 16, 2016 /CNW/ - Morneau Shepell Inc. (the "Company" or "Morneau Shepell") (TSX: MSI) confirms that it has completed its previously announced redemption of the Company's 5.75 per cent convertible unsecured subordinated debentures due March 31, 2017 (the "Debentures"). The Company redeemed in cash $2,512,000 of the $75,000,000 aggregate original principal amount of Debentures previously outstanding.
These Debentures were redeemed at a redemption amount equal to $1,011.66 for each $1,000 principal amount of Debentures, being equal to the aggregate of (i) $1,000, and (ii) all accrued and unpaid interest thereon to but excluding June 13, 2016 (the "Redemption Date"). The remainder of the previously outstanding Debentures were converted by their holders into common shares of the Company prior to the Redemption Date. Following such conversions of Debentures, there are now 53,104,152 common shares of Morneau Shepell outstanding.
