Morneau Shepell to announce new research findings at its 6th annual workplace mental health summit in Calgary

Employers Connect 2017 will be held in cities across the country on January 25

CALGARY, Jan. 19, 2017 /CNW/ - Canadian employers are increasingly aware of the importance of managing employee stress and mental health. Morneau Shepell's latest survey on workplace mental health found that there is an increased likelihood for employees to take sick leave following an organizational change, such as job re-design, team restructuring or downsizing/layoffs.

At the Employers Connect events, Morneau Shepell will reveal its in-depth research findings, discuss new therapies in mental health care, including pharmacogenomics – the relationship between genes and a person's response to medication. The Company along with guest Olympians will also share insights on how organizations can best manage workplace stress and support employee mental health.
