Morneau Shepell to discuss disruption at FEI Canada national conference
Conference to feature panel and keynote presentations from prominent Canadian thought leaders
TORONTO, June 3, 2019 /CNW/ - Disruption is more than a buzzword. Today, organizations need to be prepared to manage transformation and the introduction of new trends that have the potential to disrupt their industries. From June 5-7, 2019, Financial Executives International (FEI) Canada will hold its 2019 national conference in Blue Mountain, Ontario. Panel presentations and keynote sessions will bring together prominent Canadian thought leaders to address the theme of #Disruption through insightful discussions on the trends that will affect business in the coming years, from emerging technologies to adversarial political agendas and more.
Morneau Shepell's Shauna Hibrant, senior vice president, finance, and Paul Sywulych, vice president, digital innovation, are among the notable business leaders presenting at the conference. Hibrant will join the Committee on Corporate Reporting: Disruption in Finance panel to discuss disruption within the finance function of an organization, its impact on senior finance executives and solutions to drive efficiency in today's business environment. Sywulych will participate in the keynote session, Disrupted Cities/Smart Cities, to highlight how "smart cities" – urban areas using different types of electronic sensors to collect data – have the potential to improve citizens' lives and make a positive economic impact on the environment.
