Morneau Shepell to share insights on Canada's anxiety epidemic at FEI Canada national conference
Conference to feature presentations from prominent Canadians and industry thought leaders on business innovation
HALIFAX, June 7, 2018 /CNW/ - Organizations today are faced with many challenges as they adapt to the fast-paced landscape of modern business. New technologies, shifting demographics and flexible work policies are changing the traditional workplace and forcing companies to develop innovative strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
Financial Executives International (FEI) Canada will address these challenges and more at its 2018 national conference, held in Halifax from June 13-15, 2018. This year's event will bring together prominent Canadians and industry thought leaders to share innovative strategies to better equip today's financial leaders for the future. Keynote and panel presentations will focus on the theme "Oceans of Innovation," demonstrating various tools required to implement success in fast-paced and challenging work environments.
Morneau Shepell's Stephen Liptrap, president and chief and executive officer, and Queen's University's Dr. Kathryn Brohman will present during the session: The Power of Ideas – FEI Canada Talks on Thursday, June 14. Liptrap and Brohman will discuss the crucial role of effective leadership, strategy and execution in a dynamic world. More specifically, Liptrap will cover the anxiety epidemic, what the increase in mental health issues means for workplace productivity and how employers can adapt to meet the challenges of this trend.
