Morneau Shepell acknowledged for best healthcare content, best interactive website, best mobile app/site and organizational commitment
TORONTO, Jan. 10, 2018 /CNW/ - For the fourth consecutive year, Morneau Shepell was recognized with the following eHealthcare leadership awards: platinum for best healthcare content, gold for best interactive, gold for best mobile apps and sites, as well as the Mark Gothberg eHealth organizational commitment award. The celebration for Morneau Shepell and all other award recipients occurred in October at the 21st Annual Healthcare Internet Conference in Austin, Texas.
In each of the categories, Morneau Shepell was awarded for its interactive website, workhealthlife.com. The website, which is a resource that supplements Morneau Shepell's employee and family assistance program, provides clients with confidential support to help resolve work, health and life challenges.
"We are constantly striving to improve the lives of our clients across the globe by making our services accessible and easy to use, often through digital avenues," said Rita Fridella, executive vice president and general manager, employee support solutions, Morneau Shepell. "We are proud of the work we do for our clients and grateful for the eHealthcare accolades. We will continue to watch industry trends, such as the eHealthcare awards as a way to stay ahead of the curve."
The platinum award for best healthcare content was the result of the website being a reliable source of information online. The gold awards for best interactive and best mobile site were the result of Morneau Shepell's expertise in maintaining relationships via interactive tools and its focus on integrating mobile content with other communications. Morneau Shepell was awarded the eHealth organizational commitment award because of its commitment to achieving its business objectives through technology.
The eHealthcare leadership awards program attracts approximately 1,000 entries. An independent panel of individuals who are knowledgeable in healthcare and digital communications judges the submissions each year and selects winners from large and small healthcare organizations, online health companies, pharmaceutical/medical equipment firms, agencies/suppliers and business improvement initiatives.
