Mother-Daughter duo to celebrate the un-veiling of Trinity's name being added to the plaque in NOTL
ST. CATHARINES, ON, Nov. 6, 2014 /CNW/ - 56 people have crossed Lake Ontario. Trinity Arsenault was number 55 this past summer. This feat qualified her to become the youngest person to swim Lake Ontario and Lake Erie. Completing Lake Ontario has awarded this exceptional young person with 4 World Records.
This weekend she will be honored in NOTL, ON by having her name added to the prestigious list of those who have crossed before her, including Marilyn Bell, Vicki Keith and even her mother, Christine Arsenault, who crossed in 2011. Join her at 1:00 PM this Saturday at Queens Royal Park for this special occasion.
Trinity has recently been nominated by the World Open Water Association for Performance of the Year. Dodging thunderstorms, swimming in 70 km/hour winds and kicking over 12 foot waves, this young lady of 14 years old has demonstrated world class athleticism, grace and fortitude under the most challenging circumstances.
