Mr. Pompadur is a luminary within the media and entertainment industry whose distinguished career started with American Broadcasting Companies (ABC), where he became the organization's youngest-ever member of the Board of Directors. He also served as President at Ziff Corporation, one of the world's largest publishers of business publications and consumer special interest magazines, and later became Chairman and CEO at RP Companies, where he managed several strategic partnerships and successfully expanded its television and radio programming businesses. Concurrently, Mr. Pompadur consulted for News Corporation and wrote the business plan for the start-up of Fox Television Network. He went on to serve as Chairman of News Corp Europe, where he was responsible for building media and entertainment assets in Europe, the former Soviet Union and the Middle East. In recognition of his contributions to the industry, Mr. Pompadur has received many awards including the Steven J. Ross Humanitarian Award by the Entertainment, Media & Communications Division of the UJA - Federation of New York, the Ward L. Quaal Pioneer Award from the Broadcasters Foundation of America and the Digital TV Europe Lifetime Achievement Award.
