VAUGHAN, ON, June 5, 2018 /CNW/ - After a decade of fan anticipation, MTN DEW Baja Blast – the most wanted beverage flavour – is coming to Canada and is now exclusively available at Taco Bell restaurants across the country. This indescribable tropical lime beverage of mythic proportions delivers a refreshing hit of hurricane-like taste that fans in Canada can finally get their hands on. Engineered specifically to complement the flavour profile of Taco Bell's food, MTN DEW Baja Blast is the perfect addition to the Taco Bell Canada menu.
"Our fans have been passionately asking for this cult favourite and we're so excited to give them what they've been craving," says Veronica Castillo, head of marketing at Taco Bell Canada. "We're thrilled that Canadians can now - for the first time ever - try a Baja Blast on Canadian soil, exclusively at Taco Bell locations across the country."
To fuel the cult of Baja Blast, Taco Bell is converting die-hard fans into "dye-hard" fans by giving them the opportunity to wear their support on their head with the creation of the first-ever Taco Bell #BajaBlessed Hair Salon. The Hair Salon will only be open for two days in each city; in Toronto on June 14 & 15 at Queen Street West and Augusta Avenue and in Hamilton on June 16 & 17 at 677 Upper James Street, giving the truest MTN DEW Baja Blast fans an opportunity to come in for a free colour job – but only in one very familiar colour – Baja Blast blue.
Can't make it to the salon? Don't worry! Taco Bell has taken this one step further and partnered with Manic Panic to provide a limited-edition release of Baja Blast hair colour exclusively from Taco Bell Canada. Fans can enter the giveaway at facebook.com/tacobellcanada while supplies last.
"We know that fans of Baja Blast literally live and breathe this drink and at Taco Bell, we are always fueling our loyal fanbase with one-of-a-kind experiences they'll never forget. We can't wait for the sea of Baja Blast blue hair that's going to take over Canada!" says Castillo.
