MTS Allstream executive to receive CWC Leadership Excellence Award
Award to be presented tonight at the 2012 CWC Annual Awards Gala

TORONTO, April 16, 2012 /CNW/ - MTS Allstream, one of Canada's leading communications providers, is proud to announce that Suzanne (Sue) Harrison, Allstream Director, Strategy, Planning & Analysis, has been named a recipient of the Canadian Women in Communications (CWC) Leadership Excellence Award, in the Mentor category. CWC is a national not-for-profit organization that supports the advancement of women in the communications sector.

Ms. Harrison is also a leader in her community. For the past four years, Ms. Harrison has held the position of Vice President of Professional Development for Canadian Women in Technology, a Division of CATA Alliance, and has volunteered as a Career Role Model at local events such as Youth in Motion and Showcase Ontario.
"Women are continuously defining their role within the workplace and as such, I'm proud to be part of an organization that realizes the importance of female advancement and recognition," said Ms. Harrison.
MTS Allstream has a history of employing leaders who, much like Ms. Harrison, have been recognized by CWC for their achievements. Ms. Harrison will be honoured at the CWC Annual Awards Gala tonight in Ottawa.
