MTS Allstream increases commitment of support to Canadian Museum For Human

$1.5 million contribution as official telecommunications provider

WINNIPEG, May 6 /CNW/ - MTS Allstream Inc., one of Canada's leading national communications providers, has increased its pledge of support to the Canadian Museum For Human Rights. The Company, which has been named as the Museum's official telecommunications provider, is providing a support package of cash and in-kind services totaling $1.5 million, a $500,000 increase over the initial contribution announced in September of 2008.

The gift will comprise in-kind donations toward communications infrastructure and a state-of-the-art telecommunications network, voice and data communications equipment, and cutting edge wireless technology, as well as a cash contribution.
