BRANDON, MB, Sept. 25 /CNW/ - Today, MTS Allstream Inc. ("MTS Allstream") launches MTS Ultimate TV Service to residents in Brandon. MTS Ultimate TV Service is the next generation of high definition television ("HDTV") that combines technology from Alcatel-Lucent Canada Inc. ("Alcatel-Lucent") and the award-winning Microsoft Mediaroom Internet Protocol television ("IPTV") software platform. The service gives customers access to Whole Home PVR, the first of its kind in Canada , which includes a personal video recorder with capabilities to record three television programs at once. MTS Ultimate TV Service also gives customers access to our fastest Internet speeds available, an advanced interactive program guide, and other TV advancements.
