WINNIPEG, Oct. 21 /CNW/ - MTS is pleased to announce that it has launched the Motorola GRASP™, a device that is not only small enough to slip into a tight pocket, but is Motorola Mobility Canada's first recyclable QWERTY device. GRASP features an external phone housing that is fully recyclable at end of life, built with 25 per cent post-consumer recycled materials, and is BFR and PVC free.
"MTS is always looking to provide our wireless customers with some of the most exciting devices on the market," said Stan Kurtas, Vice President, Marketing, MTS. "The Motorola GRASP is a great device that offers customers a number of features and is eco-friendly, which will appeal to our environmentally conscious customers, while aligning with MTS's commitment to the environment."
GRASP makes finding contacts easier than ever with homescreen search that finds contacts, emails and texts immediately. The compact phone features a full QWERTY keyboard and touch-sensitive navigation pad. GRASP is the latest device from Motorola to feature threaded messaging, which allows users to scroll through previous and live conversations simultaneously, similar to instant messaging. Its large QWERTY keyboard makes the device ideal for sending texts and e-mails. GRASP also features an MP3 music player that lets the customer create unique playlists and organize music by artists, album or genre. It also supports multiple audio file formats such as WMA and more. GRASP provides all the necessities in an environmentally friendly package.
"We're excited to bring the Motorola GRASP to MTS," said Rick Gadd, vice president and general manager, Motorola Mobility Canada. "GRASP further demonstrates Motorola's ongoing commitment to developing sustainable technology, while providing a premium messaging experience for the consumer."
With this device, MTS customers can browse Mobile Web, send pictures to family and friends with Media Messaging and download the latest ringtones, screensavers and games from MTS GetStuff or from BREW, another mobile store available on many MTS cell phones.
The Motorola GRASP is available at MTS Connect stores in Manitoba for $29.99 on a three year term. Please visit a dealer nearest you or visit www.mts.ca/wireless for more information on devices and offers.
