MTS and TEAM union negotiations reach positive conclusion with new tentative collective agreement

WINNIPEG, July 16, 2013 /CNW/ - MTS Inc. ("MTS"), the Manitoba-based operating division of Manitoba Telecom Services Inc. (TSX: MBT), announced that MTS has reached a new tentative collective agreement with the Telecommunications Employees Association of Manitoba union (TEAM), which represents 1200 Manitoba-based employees in professional and managerial roles. The agreement is subject to ratification by TEAM members, and TEAM will be recommending approval of the agreement to its members. Results of the ratification vote will be known later this month.
