MTS introduces their fastest residential Internet plans yet

WINNIPEG , Sept. 18 /CNW/ - MTS Allstream Inc. ("MTS") introduces two new residential high-speed internet plans - Lightning Bolt and Lightning Super MAX. These plans offer MTS's fastest speeds yet and are great for gaming, for downloading multiple files from multiple URLs at once, and for when multiple people are using the Internet at the same time.

The Lightning Bolt plan, the first of its kind in Manitoba, is a variable speed service that leverages bandwidth from the MTS Ultimate TV service to provide up to 32 Mbps download and up to 2 Mbps upload speeds. The Lightning Super MAX plan offers a dedicated Internet connection that provides up to 25 Mbps download and up to 2 Mbps upload speeds*.

Both the Lightning Bolt and Lightning Super MAX plans include free Internet security software, access to Windows Live(TM), as well as 10 hours of free Wi-Fi in over 170 MTS Wi-Fi Hotspots in Manitoba. The Lightning Bolt plan is only available to customers who have MTS Ultimate TV service. MTS Ultimate TV is currently available to a growing number of households in Winnipeg , most of Portage La Prairie, and will soon be available in Brandon, Manitoba. Lighting Super MAX is available in the same areas as MTS Ultimate TV and can be combined with MTS Classic TV service, MTS Ultimate TV service, or sold on its own without either TV service.
