WINNIPEG, March 19, 2014 /CNW/ - MTS today expanded its television line-up, adding the Sun News Network to its News channel package. MTS News subscribers will be able to access the Sun News Network in standard definition on channel 143 and in high definition on channel 1143 (only available on MTS Ultimate TV).
"MTS is proud to offer our MTS TV customers more choice and flexibility," said MTS President Kelvin Shepherd. "Sun News Network contributes to our growing line-up of entertaining and informative programming."
In addition to Sun News Network, MTS's News channel group includes CTV News Channel, BNN (Business News Network), FOX News, MSNBC, CNBC, and Bloomberg Television. All seven channels are adjacent to each other, providing MTS TV customers with fast and convenient access to news and events.
The MTS Ultimate TV® service features nearly 400 channels, including 146 HD channels. The service also offers a wide variety of apps as well as access to Video on Demand and Pay-Per-View events. Subscribers can also pause and rewind live TV from any room in their house with the Whole Home PVR.
