TORONTO, Nov. 10, 2015 /CNW/ - Much Digital Studios revealed today from nextMEDIA in Toronto that 15 talented new Canadian creators have been added to its roster of YouTube creators and digital influencers. The new crop of Much Digital Studios talent includes: beauty, fashion, DIY, and lifestyle experts AmandaRachlee, Askylitavenue, Baker Twins, Chelsi Madonna, Lookunderhere, and SneakerTalk; comedians Deej design, MassHoleh, Matt O'Brien, SidePonyNation, and ThatdudeMCFLY; musicians Candace Leca, Fateh DOE, and Rosette Luve; and Top 5 list curators,Top 5 Unknowns. There are now 37 Much Digital Studios creators with 3.4 million subscribers in total.
Since launching in May, Much Digital Studios has received more than 42 million video views, with 155 million minutes of video consumed and 725,000 video likes and counting. Much Digital Studios is now attracting on average more than 2.5 million views a week.
As Much Digital Studios grows its roster, one of its original creators will be honoured tonight at nextMEDIA's 2015 Digi Awards, honouring Canada's best in the digital media industry. Much Digital Studios creator Jus Reign is set to be honoured as YouTuber of the Year, the latest recognition for the comedy creator. Jus Reign received his first Streamy Award nomination in the Performance Award: Collaboration category in September for his video Bounce ft. Timothy Delaghetto, which has received more than 1.8 million views to date.
Other recent Much Digital Studios successes include:
- 4YallEntertainment's video Mean Comments #2 has received more than 2.9 million views since it was posted in August
- Beauty expert AllegraLouise's subscriber base has grown by 163% since Much Digital Studios launched in May
- Comedian TheDanocracy's channel has grown by 110,000 subscribers, more than doubling since Much Digital Studios launched in May
- Beauty expert Tasha Leelyn gained more than 12,000 subscribers in one week alone in October
