OTTAWA, Oct. 26 /CNW/ - Multicraft Imports, in Cooperation with the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA), today announced a voluntary recall of the following products: Craft Magnum Glue Gun, Model Number GG500 with UPC Code 775749086645, Craft Cannon Glue Gun, Model Number GG520 with UPC Code 775749092752 and Craft Quick Shot Mini Glue Gun, Model Number GG600 with UPC Code 775749090796.
These Glue Guns have not been evaluated for safety by ESA and bear incorrect wattage ratings compared to their associated UL Marks for Canada.
These units were sold at Dollar and discount stores across Canada from October 2007 to August 2010 for between $2.50 and $7.00. ESA recommends that consumers stop using the products immediately and return it to the place of purchase or discard it. No incidents of injury and/or damages have been reported.
