Musée closed today and tomorrow, re-opening Saturday

MONTREAL, May 31, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - The Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal will be closed today, May 31, and tomorrow, Friday, June 1, 2012. All spaces will be requisitioned so that the archival and restoration teams are given a chance to complete the artwork restoration process more quickly. As announced earlier, the recent torrential rain caused a flood in the Musée basement, and the spaces at this level must now be emptied, cleaned and dried out.

The Musée will be open to the public once again on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., with the Zoo exhibition, which opened on May 24, and A Matter of Abstraction, an exhibition curated from our permanent collection.
