National Bank to donate $25,000 to support victims of the floods in Calgary

CALGARY, June 24, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - National Bank will donate $25,000 to the Canadian Red Cross to support the organization's relief efforts for the victims of the floods in Calgary, Alberta.

National Bank will also collect donations from the public in all its Canadian branches, from June 26 to July 26, 2013.

Cheques or donations should be made out to the "Canadian Red Cross, Alberta Floods." The Canadian Red Cross will issue tax receipts for all donations of $10 or more. All donations made at National Bank branches will be sent to the Canadian Red Cross to be used to provide immediate relief to the victims.

National Bank has also taken several relief measures, on a case-by-case basis, including payment deferrals, to support its customers affected by the floods.
