Community-Oriented Bank Encourages Organizations to Apply
TORONTO, May 16, 2013 /CNW/ - National Bank announces its newest program that gives back to local communities; One for Youth. Organizations can receive up to $25,000 through this initiative, which focuses on supporting the well-being, health and education needs of Canadian youth across the country. Throughout 2013, National Bank will grant a total of $1 million to selected youth programs.
As of May 1, 2013, youth organizations are encouraged to apply online to receive a portion of the funds through a call for projects. Projects must be submitted by June 14, 2013. To be eligible, organizations must be located in a Canadian city where a National Bank office is located. A list of applicable cities is online www.youth.nationalbank.ca.
To determine which youth organizations will receive money, National Bank has assembled 12 committees located in different regions across Canada who will evaluate applicants and identify youth initiatives to support.
