National Canadian Conference on Quantum Computing, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Financial Services Sells Out
The Digital Finance Institute will hold Canada's first national conference for quantum computing, artificial intelligence and machine learning for financial services on March 29, 2017
TORONTO, March 10, 2017 /CNW/ - The Digital Finance Institute, a leading think tank in financial innovation and technology, is holding Canada's first national conference on quantum computing, artificial intelligence and machine learning specifically for financial services in Toronto on March 29, 2017, and the event is sold out. AIToronto.org brings together top companies in technology innovation from Canada and the US to showcase emerging technology for enterprise, and in particular financial services.
AIToronto.org will open with a Toronto-designed humanoid robot that will speak to attendees and feature a chatbot designed by a team of lawyers that answers anti-money laundering questions to make banks smarter and help them identify financial crime.
The keynote speakers are Cortex, the Boston-based company that uses machine learning to manage the social media presence of Maroon 5, and D-Wave, the Vancouver-based quantum computing leader. Other companies speaking include IBM, CIBC, RBC and Google.
At AIToronto.org, the Digital Finance Institute will release a comprehensive report on the economic impact of artificial intelligence and machine learning through a bot, and it will be the first time a research report will be released only by a bot at a conference.
"We are excited to be presenting an array of thought leaders in quantum computers, artificial intelligence and machine learning at AIToronto.org and to showcase Canadian talent," said Christine Duhaime, the Founder of the Digital Finance Institute. "Our research shows us that AI presents an opportunity for Canada to be the leader in this area, especially in law, financial services and critical infrastructure. We hope the Conference will help start a meaningful dialogue on the promises, as well as managing the perils, of AI innovation leadership in an inclusive manner with stakeholders from coast to coast to coast."
