NATIONAL Public Relations Appoints Maryse Harvey as Vice-President
Firm's Ottawa office expanding to address client demand for integrated government and public relations counsel
OTTAWA, May 21, 2013 /CNW/ - NATIONAL Public Relations announced today that seasoned public affairs professional, Maryse Harvey has joined its Ottawa office as Vice-President. This hire reflects the Firm's ongoing commitment to enhancing its federal government relations and strategic communications counsel in the Ottawa office.

With nearly 20 years of experience in public affairs, Maryse was recently Senior Vice-President with the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada (AIAC). Prior to that, she served as a ministerial advisor to several cabinet ministers including Industry Canada, Human Resources Development Canada, Canadian International Development Agency and Public Works and Government Services Canada.
While at the AIAC, Maryse was instrumental in helping to position the aerospace industry in Canada. She led several initiatives designed to ensure that the sector's sustained competitiveness remained a priority for the Government of Canada. Maryse also spearheaded the activities of industry-led working groups that contributed to the federal government's formal review of the aerospace industry.
