From November 30 to December 11 - France will be hosting the 21st Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP21/CMP11), otherwise known as "Paris 2015". This will be a crucial conference, striving to achieve a new international agreement on climate change, applicable to all countries, with the aim of keeping global warming below 2°C.
Prime Minister Trudeau has invited the premiers and opposition party leaders to join him in Paris and promised to convene the provinces to "work together on a framework to combat climate change."
