Natural Health and Organic Products Industry Trade Show Opens Today
VANCOUVER, May 15 /CNW/ - The Canadian Health Food Association's (CHFA) annual western trade show opened today in the new West building of Vancouver's Convention Centre. Four-time Canadian Olympic medalist, Kristina Groves officially opened the largest trade show in western Canada for the natural health and organic products industry following a special organic breakfast open house arranged for local media.
The trade show, the largest component of Expo West, has grown over 20 per cent from previous years. The show features over 450 CHFA member exhibits in the West building of Vancouver's Convention Center.
Local media was invited to attend a special organic breakfast open house prior to the trade show launch. Journalists and bloggers toured the show floor to meet with key business members and companies from the industry, while sampling a number of natural health and organic products.
"Expo West is an excellent networking opportunity that brings the entire industry together," stated Deborah Callbreath, Chair of the CHFA. "One of CHFA's main goals is to educate Canadians about the benefits of using natural health and organic products as a way of achieving optimal health and well-being. We, as members of the industry, are committed to achieving that goal."
The trade show is open from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. daily from May 15-16. Media members can obtain passes and are invited to visit the trade show floor at anytime over the next two days.
