Naturopathic Doctors Invite You to Change Your Health and Change Your Life during Naturopathic Medicine Week 2013
TORONTO, May 6, 2013 /CNW/ - Naturopathic Medicine Week is an annual celebration of the power of naturopathic medicine, and was created to bring awareness to disease prevention, treatment and health promotion from a naturopathic perspective. Naturopathic Medicine Week will be held across the country from May 6 to 12, 2013. Ontario's Naturopathic Medicine Week campaign will be hosted by the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, working alongside the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
Across the province, NDs are inviting you to lectures, open houses, school Lunch & Learn sessions and practical workshops to learn more about leading a healthy lifestyle. Naturopathic doctors are highly educated primary care providers who integrate standard medical diagnostics with a broad range of natural therapies. The focus of naturopathic care is centered on the individual, their current health (physical, emotional and spiritual), family history, as well as lifestyle choices, all of which inform the diagnosis and treatment plan offered by a naturopathic doctor. NDs treat a broad range of conditions, including acute concerns and chronic health conditions.
