NDP Leadership Candidates to Debate Labour Issues in Toronto June 22
TORONTO, June 8, 2017 /CNW/ - The United Steelworkers (USW) will host a labour-focused debate between the NDP leadership candidates in Toronto on Thursday, June 22.
"It is essential that we hear each of the NDP leadership candidates on the pressing issues affecting workers, our families and our communities," said Ken Neumann, USW National Director.
All of the leadership candidates have been invited and have confirmed their participation in the Toronto Leadership Debate: Labour, Justice and Our future, which will take place at the Isabel Bader Theatre at 7:00 p.m.
Members of affiliated labour organizations will be encouraged to attend and submit questions.
A limited number of additional tickets will be FREE to the general public online through www.TOLeadershipDebate.ca.
