Neighbourhood Pharmacy Association of Canada Announces Appointment of VP, Public Affairs
TORONTO, Oct. 4, 2017 /CNW/ - The Neighbourhood Pharmacy Association of Canada (Neighbourhood Pharmacies) is pleased to announce the appointment of Aimee Sulliman as Vice President, Public Affairs. Aimee brings over 20 years of success and senior level experience within government, and corporate healthcare sectors, including several pharmaceutical companies.
In her role, Aimee is providing senior leadership on the development and execution of a robust public affairs strategy while providing direction and oversight for the events and communications of the Association. "We are very pleased to welcome Aimee to the team and thereby increase our strength in public affairs. This positions the Association to successfully advance advocacy initiatives and deliver value to our members," said Justin J. Bates, CEO.

Most recently, Aimee's experience includes senior roles in Market Access and Government Relations with several research based pharmaceutical companies, NATIONAL Public Relations, and the Ontario government. Aimee honed her skills in public policy and stakeholder engagement during her tenure at Queen's Park, preparing the government's response to the Walkerton tainted water tragedy, the launch of Ontario's Northern medical school, and re-invigoration of Ontario's long-term care sector. Aimee is a graduate of the University of Guelph.
