TORONTO, April 13 /CNW/ - Canada's No. 1 comedy series THE BIG BANG THEORY delivered its second biggest audience ever last night with 2.5 million viewers Monday night on CTV, winning the night over a new episode of HOUSE (Global/FOX, 2.1 million). BBT's lead-in, TWO AND A HALF MEN, was the No. 2 program of the night with 2.2 million viewers. THE BIG BANG THEORY was also the most-watched program Monday in Canada with both A18-49 and A25-54. Meanwhile, the star power on DANCING WITH THE STARS continues to shine on /A\ with 1.8 million viewers tuning in last night, up 4% from last week's episode in total viewers.
In next week's episode of TWO AND A HALF MEN (Monday, April 19 at 9 p.m. ET on CTV), Jake (Angus T. Jones) refuses to stay with Charlie (Charlie Sheen) and Alan (Jon Cryer) after they embarrass him in public. Then, on THE BIG BANG THEORY (Monday, April 19 at 9:30 p.m. ET on CTV), Sheldon (Jim Parsons) attempts to help Penny (Kaley Cuoco) understand Leonard's (Johnny Galecki) work, and Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) becomes jealous when Leonard starts hanging out with his new girlfriend.
