VANCOUVER, Sept. 6, 2017 /CNW/ - Nevada Sunrise Gold Corporation ("Nevada Sunrise" or the "Company") (TSXV: NEV) announces that it has made an application to the TSX Venture Exchange (the "TSXV") to amend the term of an aggregate of 1,299,998 outstanding share purchase warrants, (the "Warrants") which were issued in connection with a non-brokered private placement (see Nevada Sunrise news releases dated March 18, 2016 and April 20, 2016). On March 18, 2016, the Company issued 567,916 warrants (the "March 2016 Warrants") and on April 20, 2016 the Company issued 832,082 warrants (the "April 2016 Warrants").
The Company is seeking to extend the term of the Warrants for an additional two years. The March 2016 Warrants would be extended to September 18, 2019 and the April 2016 Warrants would be extended to October 20, 2019. The exercise price of the Warrants will remain unchanged, at $0.30 per Warrant.
The application to extend the expiry date of the Warrants is subject to acceptance by the TSXV.

Nevada Sunrise began acquisitions of Nevada lithium properties in September 2015, which includes options to earn a 100% interest in the Neptune project (Resolve Ventures Inc. The Company's two key gold assets include a 100% interest in the Golden Arrow project near Tonopah, currently the subject of an option earn-in transaction with Emgold Mining Corporation (TSXV: EMR) and a 21% interest in a joint venture with Liberty Gold Inc. (TSX: LGD, formerly Pilot Gold Inc.) at Kinsley Mountain near Wendover, with each of the properties subject to certain production royalties.
