Orléans Express Renews Fleet of Intercity Coaches
MONTREAL, Feb. 10, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Under the terms of a new agreement between Keolis Canada and Prevost, Keolis Canada has recently acquired Prevost H3-45 coaches, known for their reliability and performance. These new coaches optimize Orléans Express operations through superior performance and safety. Their larger under-floor cargo bays can also accommodate more luggage and parcels than previous models. In all, 46 vehicles will renew the Orléans Express fleet over the next three years, with nine coaches already in service. Systematic fleet renewal is a strategic commitment for Keolis Canada.
In keeping with its brand statement We Are by Your Side, Orléans Express provides the utmost in travel comfort to the 900,000 passengers who rely on its services each year. "Promoting innovation and safety is paramount to us, which is why we select the highest performance vehicles. We are constantly seeking out solutions and new features to give our passengers the best possible transportation experience," explained Marie Hélène Cloutier, Vice President, Passenger Experience, Marketing and Commercialization for Keolis Canada.
The Prevost H3-45 coaches will mainly replace coaches of the same model, a significant advantage for drivers already familiar with the driving station. Passengers will also enjoy technological advances in terms of safety, energy efficiency and comfort.
"We are proud to continue our long-standing relationship with Orléans Express and Keolis Canada. Backed by the Prevost service network, the reliability of this latest generation of H3-45 coaches will enable them to provide trouble-free, top-of-the-line service for years to come," added François Tremblay, Vice President and Managing Director for Prevost.
