VIVO …bien élevés
In a few weeks time, consumers will be able to find several VIVO milk-fed veal products in all the leading supermarket chains.
"VIVO comes at a perfect time in the Quebec food industry. We feel there is a strong desire from consumers to discover or rediscover, taste and cook Quebec veal. We made it our mission to have people identify VIVO as a leading brand in terms of freshness, quality and respect of animal welfare. The veal produced in Quebec is some of the best in the world, and VIVO will be its top product," said Mario Maillet.
A renowned spokesperson
Marjorie Maltais, chef, columnist and mother, is the spokesperson for VIVO.
Marjorie has participated in numerous food-related shows and capsules (radio and television). With her rich and eclectic professional background, she developed multiple skills related to the culinary world by working alongside the most renowned chefs in Quebec, but above all, by working as advising chef to grocery store customers. These experiences, combined with her natural talent as a communicator, have earned Marjorie a special place in the hearts of Quebecers.
"I am proud to partner with a brand of such quality. VIVO will allow us to discover new cuts and flavours. While always staying true to my own values, I will bridge the gap between the products available in grocery stores and the everyday reality of Quebec consumers. I am pleased to work with a product that I love, and I want to inspire consumers to cook Quebec veal," said Marjorie Maltais.
New products
VIVO plans to break new ground by offering new cuts and value-added products that, up until now, had been absent from this product category on grocery store shelves. "Innovative products of the utmost quality from Quebec and veal raised according to standards are what consumers expect, and VIVO will meet these expectations," concluded Mario Maillet.
