Parents may rest assured of their child's safety because the PIONEER features exclusive BRITAX Safety You Can See technologies. Featured in plain sight, these safety technologies allow parents to see what keeps their children safe. The seat's Integrated Steel Bars, Base with SafeCell Technology and Energy-Absorbing Versa-Tether work together to protect a child's head by minimizing forward movement. True Side Impact Protection provides deep side walls and a head restraint with energy-absorbing EPS foam to distribute crash forces, shield from vehicle intrusion and contain the head, neck and body.

A recline from the front of the seat, as well as an open, spacious seating area, a seated shoulder height of 46.9 centimeters and two buckle positions allow room for the seat to fit a child comfortably for many years.

Harness mode accommodates a child weighing up to 29.5 kilograms; then, the seat can easily convert to a belt-positioning booster, which a child can safely ride in until reaching 49.9 kilograms.

Beyond exceptional safety and comfort features, parents will appreciate the PIONEER's ease of use. To simplify seat adjustments, the seat recline and the harness and headrest can be accessed from the front. Integrated cup holders and storage offer a convenient space for cups and snacks.
