New Brunswick premier David Alward and Canadian GE CEO Elyse Allan to co-host
PPF's Annual Testimonial Dinner

OTTAWA, Dec. 14 /CNW/ - The Honourable David Alward, Premier of New Brunswick and Elyse Allan, President and CEO of GE Canada will be this year's co-hosts for the Public Policy Forum's Annual Testimonial Dinner. On Thursday, April 28, 2011 more than one thousand leaders from all sectors of Canadian society will converge in Toronto to pay tribute to distinguished Canadians who have made an outstanding contribution to the quality of public policy and public management in our country. This will be the Forum's 24^th Annual Testimonial Dinner.

Since 1987, over 80 respected and influential leaders have been honoured with Testimonial Awards at this annual dinner. Awards are presented to prominent Canadians who have furthered understanding and cooperation between the public and private sectors to improve the quality of government in Canada.

Also at the dinner the Hy Solomon Award for Excellence in Public Policy Journalism and the Emerging Leaders Award will be presented. Honourees will be announced early in the new year.
