TORONTO, April 25, 2012 /CNW/ - The Arthritis Society's National Board of Directors announces the appointment of Janet Yale to the role of President and CEO, effective June 4, 2012. Ms. Yale joins The Society having held significant leadership positions in the non-profit, public and private sectors.
Ken Ready, Chair of the Search Committee and Vice Chair to the National Board, believes that Janet Yale is the ideal candidate to move The Society to new levels of achievement and success. "Janet's expertise in strategic development, relationship building and revenue generation, along with her passion for community service, will enhance The Arthritis Society's position with the Canadian public, governments, corporate Canada, donors and patients."
In her new role, Yale will be responsible for leading the organization to shape the future of The Society while it delivers its mission to the millions of Canadians living with arthritis.
