New Collins Barrow chair to champion bold '2020 Vision'
WATERLOO, ON, Sept. 11, 2018 /CNW/ - The Collins Barrow National Cooperative is pleased to formally announce Grant Galbraith as the new chair of its Board of Directors, as the Canadian network ushers in a new era of growth, evolution and the enhancement of service delivery.
Galbraith, an accomplished industry veteran with 25 years of leadership at Collins Barrow Nova Scotia, will champion a bold new vision for the future of Canada's largest network of independent audit, accounting, tax and advisory firms.
"Collins Barrow has a uniquely Canadian history. With deep roots in local markets, a philosophy of transnational collaboration and strong global connections, we're proud to be the true mid-market alternative for clients seeking exceptional value, entrepreneurial firms motivated by membership in a progressive network and top talent seeking a rewarding and challenging career," said Galbraith.
In the past five years, the network has seen revenue growth of $80M, strengthened its Canadian brand with true resonance in all major and secondary markets, embarked on transformational advancements in information technology and, most importantly, attracted talent who appreciate the culture, opportunities and visibility that only this type of network can offer.
"We're proud of the legacy we've built," Galbraith continued. "Our vision for 2020 and beyond is all about accelerating our growth trajectory through strategic expansion, international connections and adapting for the 'firm of tomorrow' via innovative frameworks and technology, considering our evolving firms' talent needs and empowering remarkable people. Ultimately, these advancements, among others, will enable us to engineer greater value for clients in a rapidly changing global market."
Earlier this month, Collins Barrow National announced its expansion plans into major markets across the country, with firms in Vancouver, Toronto and across Southwestern Ontario set to join the network before year's end. While most major accounting and financial services companies are fully integrated, Collins Barrow's alternative structure of independent management means firms know and develop regional markets more strategically and are empowered to grow as entrepreneurs.
Galbraith is slated to present the network's dynamic "2020 Vision" to Collins Barrow partners from across Canada at the upcoming Partners' Conference, "The Future is Now!" This annual, highly anticipated event is designed to empower leaders from the network's 48 offices to take their teams and firms to the next level, as well as for National-level committees to come together to analyze accomplishments and set strategies for the coming year.
