Developed in Partnership with ICF Group/Nienkämper, the Scribble Collection provides workplace environments with "Endless Possibilities Inspired by a Single Continuous Line"
CHICAGO, June 12, 2017 /CNW/ - The power of simplicity is defined by small gestures of great importance. For II BY IV DESIGN it all started with an unassuming black and white sketch and a single continuous looping line. Intrigued by the play of positive and negative space captured amid the intersecting pattern, in 2015 partners Dan Menchions and Keith Rushbrook launched a career-long dream and the first piece created by their firm's product studio, the SCRIBBLE table.
"When Keith and I started our Interior Design practice in 1990, we dreamt of a studio that thrived on innovation and creativity," reflects Dan Menchions, "a creative firm that could offer a broad range of design solutions. Through strategic manufacturing partnerships we have been able to deliver on this vision."
New for NeoCon 2017, II BY IV DESIGN in partnership with ICF Group/Nienkämper has evolved the Scribble table into a collection that offers endless possibilities. The Scribble Collection includes the original round coffee table, as well as, new explorations in shape; an oval coffee table, a side table and a highly anticipated counter height meeting/dining table.
All pieces are offered in an iconic matte black with a low-iron, "Crystal" clear and tempered glass top; however finishing options are limitless. Available on-line and in stores, bases can be color matched to any Pantone color and at special request in a brushed steel or mirrored chrome finish. Adding to the versatility of the collection, tops can be fabricated in smoked or opaque glass, as well as, a revolutionary nanotech material (FENIX NTM) with low light reflectivity, anti-fingerprint, anti-bacterial and scratch resistant properties.
"Across our practice we have a commitment to uncompromising quality," proudly states II BY IV DESIGN partner Keith Rushbrook. "Form and function have equal weight, the simplicity of our pieces belie the rigorous proof-of-concept that happens during product development."
Also new this year for the II BY IV DESIGN and ICF Group/Nienkämper partnership is, the TEAR DROP table. The Tear Drop table is a small yet significant piece of furniture. Elegant and sculptural. A highly functional side table that is height adjustable making it perfectly adaptable for any setting. The shapely table is available in a variety of powder coat finishes, similar to the Scribble Collection, and in both fixed height and adjustable height options. Table tops are offered in laminate or wood veneer. Made for smaller spaces, this dynamic design is a clever space saving solution. The Tear Drop table is a uniquely adaptable design that brings an eclectic, sculptural element to any modern or classic interior from private offices, lounges, breakout areas and public spaces.
