Peter McNeil has been a director of NGG for more than 14 years and was instrumental in achieving much of the company's exploration success. He is resigning to focus on his CEO/Chairman's role with Frontier Resources Ltd. We wish him well in that role.
We welcome both Bryan and Wayne to the Board. They will add significantly to both the Board's business and financial expertise and, in Wayne's case, will assist in our dealings with the PNG Landowners and Government.

At the Sinivit Mine: Manager of Metallurgy for NGG
The Board welcomes Maurice, Mark, Luke and Douglas to these senior positions. Brief biographies follow:
1. Mr. Bryan Nethery, Director, graduated in Metallurgical Engineering (UBC 1971); and an M.B.A. (UBC 1981). He is a Professional Engineer (BC) and Member of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. Mr. Nethery has over 30 years of domestic and international senior management and metallurgical engineering experience. He has extensive experience in all aspects of mining project development, including; scoping studies, pre-feasibility studies, bankable feasibility studies, metallurgical studies, valuations, and due diligence studies, plant design, construction, commissioning and startup. Since 2005, Mr. Nethery has been active in mining project development and management and as a director and/or officer of various mining and resource related companies and has been president of a private mining company. In 2009 Mr. Nethery became President and a Director of Frontera Copper Corporation and is currently a Consultant to Frontera assisting in the re-start of mine operations and production at the 70M lb copper per year Piedras Verdes Mine in Mexico. 2. Wayne Johnston - Director and Chief Operating Officer, has a successful Papua New Guinea business and mining/exploration services background, having lived and worked in PNG for more than 40 years. He held technical and administrative positions with Kennecott Explorations (Australia) Ltd in Papua New Guinea, Australia and Indonesia. From 1975 until 2003 he managed his own private company in Papua New Guinea with interest in agriculture, radio communications and retailing. In 1983 he entered into a joint venture with an Inchcape Group subsidiary, Analabs, to build and operate the first modern commercial analytical laboratory in Papua New Guinea to service mineral exploration. He joined New Guinea Gold Limited as Vice President Operations in 2005. 3. Maurice J. Gannon - President, BSc, FCIS, AFAIM, MAICD, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance, and a Business Management Certificate. He has professional background in earth and environmental sciences and over twenty years experience in business and financial management. Mr Gannon is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Chartered Secretaries, an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He is a Director and Company Secretary of Coppermoly Limited, an Australian public listed company that has successfully advanced several copper exploration projects on New Britain Island in Papua New Guinea. 4. Mark A Morrison - Group Metallurgical Manager, and Manager Processing Sinivit. Mr Morrison has been in the mining industry for 32 years as a metallurgist and manager in the USA, South America, Australia, and PNG and also ran his own mining business in North Queensland, Australia over a 15 year period. He has experience in all aspects of mineral processing including crushing, SAG milling, ball milling, gravity separation, CIP, CIL, heap leaching, vat leaching, and flotation. Mr Morrison has BSc. Degrees in Mineral Processing Engineering and Mining Engineering from the Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology in Butte, Montana in the USA. He is a Member of the AusIMM and the SME. Mr Morrison has been employed at major operations including Mt Leyshon, the KCGM superpit, and Olympic Dam amongst others. He joined New Guinea Gold in November 2008. 5. Luke Sendo - Chief Geologist, Sinivit, holds a Bachelor of Science Degree, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and is currently completing a Masters Degree program in Management studies. He has 16 years experience in the mining industry including 13 years experience as an exploration geologist working both in PNG and Indonesia and 3 years experience as Senior mine geologist. As a geologist, Luke has been involved in grass roots exploration work, advanced stage projects and mining. He has extensive experience in gold bearing systems namely epithermal, high sulphidation and porphyry systems. He has also acted as a consultant to the East New Britain Provincial Government through the Gazelle Restoration Authority (GRA) in regards to the "Vulnerability of East New Britain Province to Natural Hazards" due to Geology. 6. Douglas Ulman - Mine Superintendant, holds a Bachelor of Mining Engineering Degree and has approximately 10 years post graduate experience including three years with NGG at Sinivit Mine
