Nanny Angel Network to Benefit
TORONTO, Feb. 24, 2015 /CNW/ - To celebrate its 20th year in operation New Home Buyers Network (NHBN), operator of www.NewinHomes.com, today announced it will donate $1.00 for every new home and condominium sold in the GTA in 2015, as reported by RealNet, to the Nanny Angel Network (NAN) www.nannyangelnetwork.com. Based on statistics from recent years, this will amount to a total donation of approximately $30,000.
Since 1995, NHBN has held a pivotal role in the new home industry's approach to strategic online marketing. The company created North America's first online listing directory aimed at improving the homebuying experience for consumers searching for new homes and condos. NHBN President, Sam Reiss is celebrating the company's 20-year success, by making a significant charitable donation. He first learned of the Nanny Angel Network, which provides free childcare relief to mothers with cancer, through attending a fundraising event. During his own cancer treatment, Reiss witnessed many mothers accompanied by their children. "Hospital waiting rooms are no place for active, healthy children," he said.
The Nanny Angel Network was founded in 2008 by Audrey Guth, president and CEO of Diamond Personnel, a nanny placement agency, to provide free, in-home childcare relief to mothers undergoing cancer treatment in the Greater Toronto Area. NAN is a registered charity and the only organization of its kind in Canada. The trained volunteer Nanny Angels are professional, experienced childcare providers. NAN provides care for children 12 years and under and offers timely, compassionate support to families throughout treatment, recovery, palliative care and bereavement. Through the services of NAN, mothers with cancer know their children are well cared for while they go to appointments, get some much needed rest or simply have time for themselves.
"We are so grateful to New Home Buyers Network for their generous donation. The funds will enable us to expand our training and our network to provide support to more families," said Audrey Guth.
A web page has been set-up to track the total of NHBN's donations each month, explain the company's initiative, and to encourage others in the new home industry to lend their support. www.nhbngives.com
About New Home Buyers Network
The principals of NHBN recognized the potential of the Internet while it was in its infancy. Prior to Google shaping internet use, NHBN was the new home industry's only gateway to online exposure. For 20 years, the company's mission has been to facilitate communication between homebuyers and builders of new homes, improving the buying process and experience. Newinhomes.com is its primary website and is now Canada's largest new home and condo search engine.
