Darlene Remlinger and Patrick Scissons at the Helm
TORONTO, March 14, 2016 /CNW/ -- Michael Houston, Global President of Grey, today announced a new leadership team at Grey Toronto:
- Darlene Remlinger has been promoted to President of Grey Toronto from Senior Vice President, Managing Director of the office
- Patrick Scissons will continue to oversee Grey Canada as its Chief Creative Officer and share responsibility for the Toronto office with Remlinger
- Leah Power has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer of Grey Canada from Vice President of Finance. Andrew Carty, Vice President of Strategy and Innovation, remains a key member of the executive leadership team. Neil McPhedran continues in his role as General Manager of Grey Vancouver
The appointments follow the announced April departure of Stephanie Nerlich who has served as President and CEO of Grey Canada during a highly successful five-year tenure in which the agency has doubled in size and emerged as a creative force at home and abroad.

Patrick Scissons: Bio
Patrick Scissons became Chief Creative Officer of Grey Canada when the network acquired his agency, Birthplace Inc., in 2011. Since joining, the agency has enjoyed a successful creative turnaround that's produced 13 Cannes Lions, Canadian Agency of the Year honors twice in the past three years and it made a significant contribution to Grey being honored as Cannes North American Agency Network of the Year in 2015.

Prior to joining Grey in 2011, Darlene Remlinger worked at both Birthplace Inc. and BBDO in strategy and client leadership roles. Most recently, she has been Senior Vice President, Managing Director of the Grey Toronto office.
