NEW LOCATION FOR INQUEST INTO THE DEATHS OF DIANE ANDERSON, TAYJAH SIMPSON

TORONTO, Sept. 17 /CNW/ - Dr. Dan Cass, Regional Supervising Coroner for Central Region, Toronto West Office, today announced a new location for the inquest into the deaths of Diane Anderson, Tayjah Simpson and Jahziah Whittaker.
Ms. Anderson, 35, Tayjah, 9 and Jahziah, 3, died on December 22, 2007, in a Toronto Community Housing Project.
The inquest will examine the events surrounding these deaths. The jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing similar deaths.
The inquest will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 18, 2010, and will now be held at the Toronto Coroners Courts, 15 Grosvenor Street. Dr. David H. Evans will preside as inquest coroner and Ms. Rebecca Edward will be counsel to the coroner.
