Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking appoints John Usborne as Managing Director, Head of Financial Institutions and Governments for its Coverage & Investment Banking division in Canada.
MONTREAL, Sept. 22 /CNW Telbec/ - John Usborne will lead Societe Generale's Financial Institutions and Governments team in Canada, advising Canadian banks, insurance companies, pension funds, asset managers, federal and provincial governments as well as their agencies.
Mr. Usborne will be dedicated to a selected group of clients, developing strategic advisory and providing tailor-made solutions from Societe Generale's full range of products.
John Usborne will report to Thierry Aulagnon, Head of the Coverage and Investment Banking Division, and locally to Pierre Matuszewski, President of Societe Generale in Canada.
Biography
John Usborne was previously Head of Financial Institutions for BNP Paribas Canada. He has over 20 years of investment banking experience having worked with several Canadian and international financial institutions, including a federal crown corporation and Schedule l and ll banks. He graduated from Carleton University and from the Institute of Corporate Directors at the Rotman School of Management.
